Even looking back Obi Wan couldn’t see how it happened, how Anakin was lost to the Dark Side; but sometimes life is like that. Sometimes there are no red flags or warning signs. Sometimes things just happen out of the blue and you’re caught off guard when your favourite padawan becomes the intergalactic version of Vlad the Impaler.
